It looks like I have early Male Pattern Baldness. By this I mean my crown is beginning to thin. I am 28. Always had a good full head of hair but looks like my genes are going to f**k me over. SO what are my options. I have heard decent things about regaine. Any advice would be great.

I also suffer from this (26). You can get tablets think its called finastride. Mate took them and its worked. I wouldnt personally take them but its a proven option as it blocks your DHT inhibitors i think which is why your hairs thin till they cant be seen anymore.

just shave your hair thats the best bet n get a tan biggrin tahts my plan when it gets worse lol

Just go with it.....

Any attempt to disguise it or encourage growth will end up with someone taking the P***. . .!

O/T: An R5 GT turbo? Sorry, but you can not both be reliving the teenage years you never had and simultaneously be having a mid-life. It isn't allowed.

On a slightly less flippant line, finesteride is an oestrogen analogue, the potential side effects are...interesting.

Other than that you're looking at hair transplants. They've really come on in the last ten years, but you'll be looking at £10k or so depending on how much work needs to be done.

I've been using that German shampoo stuff (can't think of the name) which is adverted on TV. It is quite pricey but I think it has been working. But if you read reviews of the product, many state that it will work for some and not for others so might be worth a try. You need a good couple of months use to start seeing any difference.

Yeah just shave it off, even if you've got an odd shaped head as long as it's slightly tanned it will pass.

I started losing mine at 19, by the time I was 24 I buzzed it off. Could not tell you how liberating it was to go out on a wet and windy day and just well get wet, without worrying what my lastest attempt at a comb over was doing, oh and I could go swimming again like normal people!. I'm 33 now and and now just take a razor to it every other day.

One thing I did do when I started to lose my hair at 19 was to hit the gym, been going consistantly now for the last 14 years so much so it's almost like it's inbred in me. So although I lost my hair I am rather powerfully built! and am the only one out of my parents and siblings not to be obease. So being a bald bd has stopped me from naturally being a fat fk!
