After months of bad health news I finally got some good today.

Had to do a routine eye test before going on some strong antibiotics. Turns out I've got 20/10 vision. Basically I went two levels beyond 20/20 when he was flipping over the cards with letters on. I have always known my eyesight was good but interesting to know what the correct term was.

Was quite funny, he was genuinely surprised and asked me to do it again, whilst shaking his head in a bemused fashion hehe

Anyway, just thought I'd share so others can tell their eye stories. Anyone got 20/8??

i used to, my vision was perfect before i started sitting behind two huge monitors for a living. i swear i need glasses but every time i get an eye test i'm told they're 20/20. i'm told it's just the drop from what they used to be is so noticeable to me.

A fifty year old friend of mine, 30+ years a programmer still has better than 20/20 distance vision.
Close-up reading is crap. Fecking great thick pebbles he has to wear now.

20/10 with glasses on. Not sure without, 20/100 maybe - I can just about read a computer screen at normal distance.

What does 20/100 20/20 actually mean? I assume it is a distance/character-size ratio or somat?
