Babies and Red Eye?
Discussion
Hi I realise this is going to be moved to somewhere but could do with some quick answers if possible please.
My 8 week old is developing well enough but the local doctor has suggested there could be a problem with the lack of red eye in her early tests. Apparently much like a digital camera she should be showing a red reflection in her pupils when a light is shone at her and they would like to refer her for some more tests this afternoon.
She can recognise shapes and from what I gather she can follow colours. I have some black and white silouhettes and a few sponge balls in different colours and she focuses on them and follows them around the room.
I'm doing some research at the moment but could do with some basic understanding of what the issue is, could be? What are the likely outcomes, worst case scenarios and things we can do as parents to try and help. Also any questions I should ask my doctor?
Thanks in advance guys.

To early to tell i think, but when my lad was 8 months we realised he had a wierd look to his eyes and when he cried he only went red on one side.
We were told he has horner's syndrome.
Maybe worth reading about.
That was 15yrs ago now he has that piercing stare like he's just fking flipped and all hells about to be let loose.
