I'm going to get done next Friday, and I've just had a 15 minute telephone consultation that appeared to be tailored to scare my balls back up.
I'd appreciate as many reports as possible of trouble free, no hassle during or after procedures as possible. I don't see the need for any pics, thanks.

Done on LA, no issues.. For reference, the second side application of anaesthesia will hurt more than the first, but that's the worst of the pain over and done with..

As above, 2nd side hurt like hell. Shave the area yourself, but they will give it a blast too. Just chill and chat. Biscuits and coffee was great after. I managed to get training a week after, which cured the boredom!

Shave yourself and don't go on a bicycle.
The jabs were unpleasant but after that all was fine.
As said already, frozen peas are your friend!
May get a bit of swelling but nothing at all to worry about.
All over very quickly.

injections are the worst - the rest is just 'uncomfortable' nothing more

Worst thing for me was the lower abdominal pain, oh and catching the stitches a week later...
LA and sedated. The sizzle and smell were amusing as they burnt the tubes

LA? Clever. It starts as local but you induce general...

As has been said, initial injections the worst bit, unless you decide to use veet or other hair removal cream, don't, it burns, stick to shaving. Afterwards make sure you don't over do it. In my case a weeks 'rest' turned into 2 weeks because i started training again too soon.

I got done about 6 years ago at local gp Decided to shave myself only to be told there was no longer any need for that Went with LA which as others have mentioned was worst bit, a couple of quick incisions, slight smell of burning as the laser went to work and job done.

I also understand its worth getting some close fitting underwear. You want support and keeping in place, not allowed to swing and sway

The smell of singeing and smoke from your balls was slightly concerning! but over and done with very quickly. Just keep out of the way after, it's surprising how a slight nudge in the nether regions from the kids jumping on you could cause major concern!! go for it, you know it makes sense.

Really nothing to it. As said the injections are the worst bit but absolutely nothing like as bad as you might think. No worse than getting an injection in the arm.
Do be prepared for the smell as they do a lot very quickly and the whole place smells of burning flesh but not a big deal if you know about it before hand.
I had little swelling, bruising or pain but this was probably a bad thing. As suggested take to the couch and relax. I went out for dinner that night, (walked round to friends), and then continued as normal the next day but this was a bad idea! Mid the next week after doing even more of what is suggested not to I was a bit more swollen and a bit uncomfortable.
My best advice is that even if all feels good that you should rest up and take it easy for the rest of the day and the next one. I am not one of those people who find this easy and I regret it!

A slightly different angle.....
Make sure your relationship is perfect. Really perfect. I know someone (not me!) who had the snip, only for their relationship to fail later and then for them to met a new perfect woman, who is desperate for kids.....
