For a prime example checkout some of the vids from that YT'er who's name escapes me. Zach Zeiler I think

just regular vests which they deliberately cut them up to make it thinner. Kali Muscle does it.

looks like they're called Stringer vests.

People walking through the cable machine, I grab one handle and go for the other one just as some tit walks through, It's always the guy that does 1 set in a vest and walks to the water fountain for a mouthful before going back to his collection of 20 dumbbells that he's hoarding.

on the 2nd floor of my gym all the cable machines are in a circle in the corner next to the only water & tissues on that level. having lots of running machines/isolation machines/cross trainers/freeweights it's probably the busiest area. i always look to see if anyone is doing a set to make sure I avoid that path/give a wide birth to them. i can only imagine whoever uses that stuff must get alot of prats walking past closely to them while doing a set.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I always thought spotting was a gentle push to get you through the worst part of the lift.

Some chaps were "spotting" each other by grabbing wrists for a flat bench dumbell press - straining with the weight on rep 1. It ended in disaster as the spotter shifted position to get a better angle and moved slightly to the left of the plane of movement. Cue 40KG dumbell going AWOL and what looked like a nasty shoulder strain. Luckily no one was on the bench next to them at the time.

Spotting is a forgotten art in most gyms. So many lifters are getting lots of help so they can get their ego numbers up. There's a guy at my gym who is very big and ripped but takes help on almost all his lifts and so is still weak. Teaching the muscles to fail.

Impressed by lifts. Not sure what the suit is supposed to do.
