The very fact you were questioning it means you're both guilty as charged!

Heh. Maybe I'm missing something, but I didn't take it quite literally. I assumed artificial legs with what appears to be 'normal' trainers/footwear.

so the gym i use is a self serving type, no reception etc, Just a hanger filled with weights and equipment, You get given your own key and you are responsible for opening and locking the place up if you are first there or last to leave,

Today i showed up, all lights off so i thought great place to myself, Turn lights on to reveal person before me decided to leave it in a mess for me to clean up, The list as follows

Bench left in squat rack with random plates sitting on the bench, Plus pussy pad bar left in rack
EZ curl bar left on dead lift mats with 2 Olympic 10kg places left on it. (bars have their own hangers on the wall)
Sweaty towel left on shoulder press machine
Hammer curl bar left in front of dumbbell rack with 3x5kg plates on either side. (again bar has hanger on wall other side of the gym)
Last swig of protein shake left in a shaker left on the bench (who leaves their shakers behind?)
Music system was not turned off (big sign on door on way out stressing what to turn off when leaving)
Dumbbell rack in random order (1 30kg dumbell one side of the rack, the other 30kg the other end of the rack)
random attachments clipped onto the handles of the cable machine!, rope clipped on 1 side and straps on the other, There is a specific pull down machine.

Considering its a member run gym you would expect better, Theres no works who are going to come clean up at night and put things back, Some people just dont care that the next person in will have to clean up their st and are happy to do it.

Wonder if someone had an emergency and had to leave suddenly. Seems plausible with the shaker left behind.

You probably pay less so that's what you have to deal with. If you want a PTer to tidy up after you, then join a "proper" gym. smile

There's a chap at our gym who leaves the place like that. He is tall, black, loud and has tattoos (virtually indistinguishable on a black canvas).

All the equipment he uses will be left on the floor - thrown there usually. He sweats a lot and doesn't wipe it up and grunts loudly throughout every exercise. He will also position an exercise bike (from the spin studio) directly in front of a mirror so he can watch himself whilst he cycles.

Last time I saw him he was strutting out the club talking loudly on his mobile phone, jabbing a finger in the air shouting, "That ain't my problem bruv, that's your problem".

There should be an interview process before membership is granted, to weed out the oiks.

Cripes, reading some of these posts, I'm just happy to have my own gym in my own garage - public gyms seem too much of a nightmare...
