Basically what thejimi said.
Offer a bit of pop off the ground.
340 here too for anyone interested biggrin
350 attempt this week then saving my energy for comp smile

I genuinely do not mean to be rude, but what is the point? If the suit is doing some of the work, you're not really lifting the weight anymore; you are lifting slightly less than the weight.
My next comp is suits allowed so I'll use every advantage I'm allowed biggrin
I train suitless the majority of the year.

The suit only gives you up to a 15" at a guess, if I fail, it's at the knee, the suit just makes me quicker off the ground.
Similar to reverse band deadlifts I guess?
They're also not as simple as pop one on and you're stronger, many lose kg's because they can't get on with it.

Mental.

BTW new gym? The last one looked like a storage locker in a warehouse.
Yes it is, I still train at the other place though, this one is a 5 min walk smile

Doesn't bouncing the bar off the floor do that? biggrin
You need to get it off the ground first for that!
My theory is that because I'm not weak off the ground, touch and go reps should benefit me more?
The bouncing I can't help, at a lighter weight it's more controlled, I generally don't train over 300kg currently though but I will get better in time biggrin

Fair enough. If it's a competition thing and it's allowed, it would be mad not to take the assistance!

weekday peak time using the cross trainer. There was a woman on the rowing machine who after about 5 minutes of me being on the cross trainer wiped her entire head, neck and shoulders with her towel then decided to dump it there for 5min while she went to get water.

also whats the deal with some people filling their water bottles to the max before/during a workout? takes ages on a drinking fountain when its a 1litre bottle. I doubt they're going to drink an entire litre during their workout. I fill up maybe 200ml and sip that, sometimes I don't even touch it. At the end I might fill it up a good way to drink on the way out.
I wish my gym looked like that at peak times!

I don't like people who are roughly my size and a lot stronger and fitter than me. Rude.

I think I've walked into my current gym once with shades on, when I remembered I did take them off.
One third to one half of the gym is glass, so the sun can hit it reall hard sometimes, it's nice to walk on the treads facing the sun sometimes. Feels like I'm in LA. biggrin

not really a moan but I kinda feel sorry for the guy here that's having to pull his gf away.

(its a vid of some YT asthetic lifter trying to do a workout at a planetfitness gym. nothing special)

indeed, he does seem like one. most of his videos are just various types of women reaction videos of him taking his top off.
