What Are Your Gym/Fitness/Routine Moans?

My rant is usually about the amount of signs and the "rant board" the owner has up. and my absolute favourite of towels must be used to dry yourself after a shower. As opposed to shaking yourself dry like a dog I suppose.
At fitness first the amount of people I saw using hair dryers to dry their entire body instead of a towel was alarming. Some people would even have a second hair dryer going exclusively to dry their shorts or whatever!

If it's not the Basingstoke one then it's clearly a FF thing rather than a local thing. Some people would even have a second hair dryer going exclusively to dry their shorts or whatever!
I don't recall EVER having seen anyone use a hairdryer for anything other than hair before I joined FF.
I often wonder if they do it at home?

This is London!I don't recall EVER having seen anyone use a hairdryer for anything other than hair before I joined FF.

I've seen it in 3 clubs I was a regular at over the years. I'm not really hugely eco-friendly but couldn't help get annoyed at it!
Unless FF has exceptionally good hair dryers and we're missing a trick?

People who wear 'Tough Mudder' etc t shirts to the gym. Definite increase in these types around here. Exactly what message are they trying to convey?
Ive not actually done tough mudder but...For some people its quite a big thing and they are proud of finishing it (doesnt matter if you think its a peice of p*ss to do or not) so why shouldnt they show that off.
Its a free t-shirt, why buy something else?

Because 1.It's showing off. 2.Tough Mudder isn't particularly anything to show off about (rolling around in mud etc). 3.It's a weightlifting gym, not a cross-country running club. Matter of fact even the runners I know are quite dismissive about TM. Its a free scruffy t-shirt they dont give a st about? Ive got an old Asterix the gaul one when i meeded to squat in something.
Anyway, Squat Safety Bar has turned up, didnt realise the pegs are removeable so ill be taking them home with me each time.
As for a moan, people posting pictures of them doing Xkg in whatever it is they are doing yet no video. Yeah sure your pushing/pressing X, whats that 2" of motion, gtfo

3. Who gives a fk what some one-trick wonders think?
So yeah, cheer up.
i had to google what tough mudder is. quite frankly I couldn't care what they're wearing, a cheap/free tshirt is much better then being some moron who's clearly gone into the gym with £70 sneakers that are crap for squatting in while wearing £100 beats headphones which will sound awful being powered from the 3.5mm jack of a mobile phone.

I'm just happy when people exercising near me have washed recently and are wearing something clean.

1. of a personal achievement. Better that than some random "look at what brand I can afford" shirt.
It's a personal achievement for some to get up in the morning - they don't wear a t shirt announcing it.Centurion07 said:

I'm not debating that, I'm saying it means bugger all to weightlifters in a weightlifter's gym.Centurion07 said:

Gods yes.
I have a nice selection of ancient proper gym tops, as in old tees from my O'Malley days, but they are just to wear while I warm up, then it's vests, which are that light material for running, mostly just the brand, and the tank tops for weights, which I now have a fine selection of Marvel and other geeky stuff. Love my Punisher top. I also now have a few of those nerdy UA tops, iron-man, spider-man etc. I love 'em. Even got an Optimus Prime one.
