Mefenamic & Codeine Phosphate?

Afternoon all,

My Girlfriend has been to the doctors this morning and she has been prescribed Mefenamic and Codeine Phosphate as pain killers for pains in her lower abdomen. She has just called me saying that she is very dizzy about 20 mins after taking them.

Now I know pain killers can make you feel floaty and some times nauseous but I have never heard anyone say dizzy before.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Well it appears the dizziness has now subsided.

She has decided that she is going to stop taking the Mefenamic as she has been on Codeine before and has not experienced any adverse side effects.
