Oooh. The 4KG option looks bargain. But why is it impossible to find an amino acid profile for these "deals"?

Yeah I buy MP Impact and Deluxe when I can for me and clients (practicing what I preach and all that). Always on the lookout for something different though.

That Matrix stuff claims it's mixed with HMB (not interested), Creatine, EFA's and L_Glutamine but it doesn't even say what ratio for that, let alone the AAP. mad How is someone supposed to make an educated purchase if they don't know what they're getting?

Edit: I lie. Managed to find this:
Per 100g
2.5g HMB
7.5g pure Creatine Monohydrate and L-Glutamine
Over 4g MCT's and EFA's

7.5g per 100g of L-Glutamine isn't a lot nor is "over" (WTF?) 4g per 100g of EFA's. That's tiny amounts per serving.

It's also only a Whey Concentrate and may even be a bit lower quality given it's mixed with a "Milk Protein Concentrate" as well - I assume this to mean @ 80% Caesin and 20% Whey as per er, milk.

Can anyone advise if this is a good protein supplement?

http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/sports-suppl...

It comes in at £50 for 5kg which seems a bargain. Here's the ingredients:

Undenatured Cross-Flow Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate (65%), Isolated Undenatured Micellar Casein (33%), stabiliser (pea fibre), Sweetener (cyclamate, saccharin), Natural Flavour.

Cheers

Yes it's good. I'm just about to buy the same brand. If you type 90 whey protein on ebay; there's a pack of 3 for £133!

What are nice low-carb protein bars out there free from artificial sweeteners?

http://www.questproteinbar.com/
Hmm, Quest might be it.
Has erythritol, which is derived from stevia.

edit, seems they have 100% natural line, and a second 95% natural line that uses sucrolose.

Hal, did you ever get stuff from Quest?

Funny, I saw that page as well, and the two pages were so similar with similar products, I wondered if they were the same place. The Protein Works seems to be affiliated with Everton, while Gonutrition is based in Manchester, is this the reason for the difference?

Exactly what I was looking for last year. Pink Sun seemed to be the product I was after at the time.

I did and I loved them. I used the 100% natural range (no artificial sweeteners), I love cinnamon and so went for that one, but also tried a few others, I felt the lemon meringue one was a bit sweet.

Just got what looks to be a great deal via the hotukdeals.com website. I check this website one or twice a week searching under whey and there seems to be a fantastic deal from Protein Lifestyle.

If you put 'dayone' in the discount code box when checking out, it gives you a £25 discount against anything. I had to pay for postage but 2.5kg of 80% whey protein for £8.94!

The reviews say it tastes ok, so waht have I got to lose.

The order might not be honoured I suppose, but it's worth a try.

Thanks for the heads up, just ordered myself 2.5kg unflavoured whey(fussy taste person), Mines came to £9.44, didnt give me any shipping options apart from interlink at £4.45 or something.

Hopefully this goes better than the soy protein stuff i ordered in the gonutrition sale. im stuck with 2kg of the stuff, ive had 3 servings of it and i just cant face to take anymore. It was only £11 quid delivered i think, i thought i will alternate my shakes, soy in the afternoon and whey after my workout in the evening, but the soy protein is the most vile tasting thing i have ever tried to drink. It doesnt mix smooth. even if the shaker was in an earthquake, its like drinking wet sand, and it smells like ass.

have you had an email back hepy?
I got a confirmation email with an invoice etc. It said another email would be sent with tracking details once dispatched but i have recieved it, It was meant to be interlink next day shipping,

Im almost slightly annoyed i had to pay £5 for next day shipping but dont have the audacity to email them after getting 2kg of whey for 4 quid.
