It's probably worth considering lentils and learning how to cook dhal. a 2kg packet of lentils can set you back £3-3.50ish and is 25% protein. It's also 55% carbs so perhaps its not ideal for people doing a low-carb diet?
Just looked into it and good shout! I may be incorporating that into my diet

Good stuff, I'm glad its going well for you.

I'm the heaviest and strongest I've ever been (just over 16st) and all of my injuries are now healed so all is good in my world!

what weight do you think you'd be around 10-12% bf? (assuming you're not)

I'm not sure to be honest, I'm around 15% at the moment.

I'm aiming to get sub 10% then slowly build from there.

I can't belive how little you pay for chicken. In tesco it is about £10 per kg the trays of 4 breasts being the slightly cheaper way by pence. But it is utter crap. Full of water, when you try and stir fry it you have soup before you know whats going on. I am clearly missing a trick.

I've always thought this but when I go to the local butcher it seems to be just as expensive. Think I need to find a decent, more cost-effective butcher.

Morning chaps,

Checking in with this thread, i've gone from the bacon sarnie for brekkie, baguette & can of coke for lunch & huge portion of dinner to the following.

10g Glutamine + water on wake up + multi vit

20 min cardio

8.30 3 egg whites & 1 yolk scrambled egg, with an egg cup of milk + oats with 0% fat/sugar/carb syrup (some US stuff).

11 1 x scoop Protein shake & oats with water

2 Chicken breast with brown rice & brocolli, i sex it up with some low salt soya sauce or sugar/salt free ketchup!

4.30 Above again

5 Gym weights session

Post work out 1 scoop protein shake, glutamine & vitargo shake

6.30sh Eve meal - salmon fillet & green veg

20 min cardio

1 x scoop total peptide before bed

I'm breaking the evening meal up with steak every now and again as a treat!

Local butcher does 5Kg of chicken breast for £22.50, i paid last week £12 for 1.7KG at sainsburys!

Couple of questions on this:

You put oats in with the scrambled egg or you have the oats + milk seperately?

You have 2 chicken breasts for lunch plus 2 more at half 4?

Are you using this diet to bulk up or build muscle whilst losing weight/fat?

Okay, found a local butcher who will do 5kg for £25. Just need to find somewhere to store it now...

Breakfast:
Porridge with semi-skimmed milk sweetener and Cinnamon
2-3 scrambled eggs - only 1 yolk tho

10 - 11 -Low fat Yogurt

Lunch
Grilled fish or meat with some salad and carbs (bread, rice or some potatoes)

4 - Protein bar

Dinner
Fish or meat based dish with some salad or veggies and carbs (bread, rice or some potatoes etc)

After training - Protein shake
