I can't remember what food I ate the last time, but is there anything that stays down? I was thinking watery chicken soup?
Pro biotic yoghurts are your best bet but even that may be a struggle in Day 1-2, good luck, thoughts are with you!

The wife came back on Saturday night after spending Friday/Saturday morning with her family - last night she starting vomiting etc and generally feels awful. Turns out the rest of her family are now ill and it has come from her niece's school were there has been a number of cases of norovirus. How contagious is this? I feel like a ticking time bomb......
My understanding is that it's a bit like Ebola yikes It's transferred through bodily fluids like saliva and vomit. I'd keep well away!
I appear to have dodged a bullet.... the OH is thankfully recovering - as soon as I found out how contagious it was I kept well away and wiped down all the surfaces and slept in the spare room.

I spoke too soon. I came home from a meeting last night at 9pm and by 11pm I was on the toilet with extreme diahorea which then brought on the vomiting. This continued throught the night combined with serious nausea and the shakes - unbelievably unpleasant. Whenever I was ill as a child my mum always gave me flat coke and that seemed to work this afternoon. Still feel drained.

I thought people were over-reacting about norovirus, I was wrong...frown

Sunday after top gear the nausea hit, by 11 it was coming out both ends with me nearly passing out. Managed to not st myself but only just.

Feel much better now although still have brown rain. Drove to work this morning but turned round halfway, not well enough yet plus I don't want to infect everyone.

Can drink anything fine now but no appetite whatsoever, 2 slices of toast yesterday but didn't enjoy them frown

Missus has had it too and we've resorted to binning soiled sheets etc. Really don't want this again anytime soon...frown
