It's my 48kd 'bell with 27kg added weight- I'm not bad at swinging it now!

It's a terrible looking thing, BUT it does what I need it too and it's not for show...

BEHOLD...

Looks unbalanced, but it's not. Told you it was ugly! It lives, and is used, in my green house.

Yeterdays session saw 8's at 150kg squats and 110kg bench, although didn't quite make it for all three sets on the bench. Looking forward to upping the weight on the squats now and taking the reps back down!

Deadlifts later today.

Stronglifts/starting strength. Almost the same, some even take the mickey and say stronglifts just copied Ripptoe. I've not heard of the app but I will look into it! What improvements has it done for you? For me its a case of losing body fat mainly, but anything else that comes along with it is a bonus.
I've found it really good - lost over 2% body fat and reduced waist size too. I've tried to keep my weight at 83kg but increase strength / muscle. Managed to go from hardly doing any deadlifts to 140kg for 5 reps which is still small compared to some guys on here, but you've got to start somewhere ! The only problem I have had is maintaining a good intensity of cardio on off days - my legs are too tired in the last few weeks! Good luck with it

Not really smile. Do dumbbells but got fed up of repping 50kg 16 times so did a bench session prior to my week off then had a 1rm attempt yesterday smile

Yup, I work on the basis less is more.......
I've bought these so I could press up to 110kg (one day!) However I'm struggling to find 5kg's that are less than 8 1/2" in diameter, my current ones are 8 1/2" and are about 1-2mm too big. Hence why I rep with the 50's!
Also the people in the gym aren't strong enough for him to consider heavier ones, it would be for my benefit only hehe
