Training going well atm, although my knee still isn't right!
Nothing too massive but still progressing upward accordingly...
DLs later today at 190kg for 6
Bench press yesterday at 125kg for 4
OH press singles and doubles at 85kg
Rack partial (about a 3/4) squats yesterday at 180kg for 3. This was to ease my knee back into squatting but it has still made things a little worse.
I can see the DLs getting hard at the 200kg mark, and I've already moved to the next stage (3,4,5,6 rather than 5,6,7,8 with bench press).

pull ups!!!!! Probably my most hated and least done exercise, a couple here and there every now and then! Thing is, everytime I fancy doing a WOD, the bloody things are there!
Had good session today though, I had to use a strong resistance band to help me do a useful set, but it was still tough and I'm not going to hide from these any more!

Had another go on the running machine today. Ran 800metres I. Just under 4mins and nearly died
I then did an hour of weights and circuits before having another attempt at running. Took it easier this time and completed a mile in just over 9mins.
I know it's rubbish but I'm just happy my ankle is letting me run. Aim now is to bring that time down into the low eights
Went to the gym full of vigour and ambition...

Did some cardio on the arc trainer (like the cross trainer) as thumb is still healing. Sweated buckets. Was at a HR of 160-170bpm for the 50minutes I was doing it.

Then a gentle 1mile on the running machine.
Today was 4x superset with 32kg kettlebell
push ups x25

Then another gentle mile on the running machine. Ankle is feeling better and better

That's right! Asterix started Stronglifts 5x5 today.
Joined a proper warehouse type gym with all the free weights I could ever need. My apartment block gym is pants - mostly machines and half of them are faulty.
My aim is to simply get some strength into my feeble body - If I end up looking better, which I hope I shall with a good diet, then all the better.
