Coolio. If I weighed 78kgs I'd probably get blown away in the wind. hehe
I'm 186cm and 90kgs. Carrying too much fat and not enough muscle - ideally I'd like to be 92-95kgs 10-12% BF. Still a way to go. WIP.

I certainly didn't intend to dig. It just makes me shudder seeing the head moving and spine articulating. If you were a bit older like me you'd break something. I used to keep my chin down on my chest and go straight up, down. Cherrs
Not taken as a dig, don't worry! I do them for tri's only, not worried about chest, so see them as 'upper body squats'- as long as my arms lift the weight, I'm not so worried about what my body does (within reason!)

I've been looking at dip technique recently on where to focus the work. Triceps or chest, I've changed mine to make them more chest orientated. But from the articles I've read so long as your shoulders aren't moving in the sagittal plane you should be OK. I watched the vid and used a pen, they seem to travel up and down on a column as they should so it doesn't look too dangerous.

It's the aids.... biggrin

Leanest I've been for years, plan to slow the diet in the next 4/5 weeks- so i'll maybe put up a progress pic when I do. Oddly, I've more people saying I look big now that I'm leaner/lighter! As an added bonus, my bi's have grown (around 18"), but my waist has dropped circa 6" so far. Happy days.

I got that too. When I started the fasting and I dropped over 2 stones, I got the 'you look bigger' thing.

I tend to go by feel nowadays- felt good, mostly tri burn, so it'll do me smile

I move my feet infront of my mass now, it's harder, but I can feel it more. I'll keep it this way for as long as running is my main trainer and the barbell stuff is sidelined.

Not sure too many actually commented, but I feel so much bigger/better when I'm lean.
Look at Pilchard, he's a scrawny fecker (hehe) but he's big with it, IYSWIM.

Aye wip. I did weigh 95 and I think 78 will be tough. I'm quite lean as it is but I've never gone below 10% fat so it's certainly an interesting experiment.

Well did my powerlift style meet today. Just a bunch of is at then gym. Was great fun. Really pushes yiu on having people shooting.

Previous maxes were:

Squat - 105
deadlift - 150
bench - 62.5

Managed:

115
165
77.5

Very very pleased! Totally chuffed.

My girlfriend managed a 105 squat, 60 bench and 102.5 deadlift which would qualify her for her weight category at the last Scottish power lifting meet.

Overall a great way to spend an afternoon!

78kg, I'd get absolutely mudered in a real competition but I'm happy to be progressing.

Hour in the gym; press-ups, chin-ups, monkey bars, headstands, power-twists and other stuff.

Just seems like some of us are not meant to be powerlifters. At the caledonia last week I think the winning squat in my weight class was 220 odd! Clearly I'm just too fat :-)

Leg day today. Every second week my training partner and I have been attempting 10x10, started at 140 which was fine, then added 5kg each time.... turned into 10 sets of as close to 10 as possible. Up to 175kg this week which went 10,8,7,6,5,6,7,8,10,10. Then some ham/quad superset stuff.

F*cking horrible.
