Day off today, so some fun calf work at home>

Donkey raises: 5 drop sets (each set wife first, then my 3 daughters in descending weight!)

2 hours prior the competition starting, I put myself down for a last minute space completely unprepared and still had doms from Friday's training laugh

Its also only been 6 weeks since I had my gallbladder taken out which is when the Dr's recommended I start lifting......

Quick blast of my 4 mile loop from home after work & before dinner, on the road bike.

Went hard, 18.6mph average speed. Now I just need to get back to that over a decent distance...

Todays session will be:

5x5 deadlifts at 130
4x6 3 second pause front squats at 60
4x10 BB row at 75
4 sets of chins

I suspect I may be a broken man after this and to top it off my training buddy has bailed on me!

4 laps of Richmond Park on the road bike.

27.1 miles. 16.1mph average. Quite a few PRs and my second quickest overall lap time. So not too unhappy with that.

I don't know whether it was because I decided to have a small slice of Hugo The Hedgehog chocolate birthday cake before I started, but I just had one hell of a workout - almost 2 hours! I am sure I'll regret for arms and shoulders tomorrow, though..

Today - Legs, chest and back

Squats:

5 warm up sets of 10 reps (50-110kg)
5 sets of 5 reps (120-140kg)

Bench Press:

6 sets of 5 reps (50-105kg)
1 set of 3 reps with 110kg
1 drop set of 12 reps with 80kg

Incline Bench Press - 4 sets of 7-8 reps (65-75kg)
Dumbbell Incline Fly's - 4 sets of 12 reps

Pendlay Row - 5 sets of 5 reps (80-100kg)
Dumbbell Row - 4 sets of 10 reps (50kg)
Lat Pull Downs - 3 sets of 10 reps (60kg)

Stiff Legged Deadlifts - 3 sets of 5 reps (100-115kg)

Am knackered - need another slice of Hugo the Hedgehog! With hindsight, I think that was too much...

Just bought 5kg from MP for £40 delivered earlier(with a free towel!).... was going to get this as well as it's super cheap! But.. it's only 66% protein, and part soy, and sugary so I'm not too fussed now.

Tonight>

Squat: 3x8x180kg (beltless, HB)
Leg press: 3 sets 400, 1 set 30 300kg
Leg ext: 3 sets 1 drop
Ham curls: 3 sets 1 drop
Puked.
Went home.

Sweaty and horrible.

Just checking my comprehension skillz are as hot as my barbell skillz...

That's a melted chunky kitkat in a tortilla wrap with Philadelphia?

If so, Jesus Christ.

Best to add a bit of jam to it as well. Try it, you'll love it!

On a cut too, controversial ...
