My quads are still feeling it today after yesterday; high-bar (manta) squats, front squats, walking lunges, leg press, leg curls and straight-back straight-leg deadlifts.
No HIIT for me today. biggrin

(manta)=(girly)

Think I will do some HITT later, to make up for my perceived lack of effort this morning.....

I used mine a couple of times. Didn't perceive any benefit so consigned to the big box of gadgets, gizmos and junk. I'll try it again if/when I think of it - in a few years. paperbag

Yesterday squats and bench press.
Today ohp and deads.

I am deadlift God. Something has clicked lately and while the numbers may be nothing to boast about, I'm very happy with how it feels. It's only taken ten years but I think I've nailed it. biggrin

Plenty stretching and yoga too.

I've noticed that I'm getting leaner and eating more calories than I previously was- I'd cut them down too low, and it was counter productive. Upped them a bit, and everything feels better. Don't go mad, but maybe try a few hundred more and see how it goes, if fat loss slows/stalls, then drop them again.
Thank you smile

I shall up my pasta intake and see if that helps.
The man said cheese cake!

Decided against hiit, did some back stuff instead with my 48kg kettle bell- loads of rows at different angles for about 40 mins.

It is strange, I have upped my food intake for the past 5 or so days, and when I weighed myself this morning, I was the lightest I have been since Christmas, 71.8kg!

How does that work! hehe

Magic! I noticed the same too, ate more and leaned out. My plan is now to have lower and higher calorie days, see how that goes for a while.

Had a rather poop night frown
All set up to equal my all time PB at a lighter body weight, pulled 90% and all went downhill from there.

Somehow thrown my back out really badly, as someone suggested in the comments on the vid it may be due to a little snap action :/

Absolutely gutted, will be rehabbing and working towards 300kg

same here. I only have anecdotal evidence. It took me several months to really start the cut process properly- a 'switch' has been flicked and i can get away with almost anything. 2 weeks on holiday eating a lot of italian food heavy carbs and alcohol. gained nothing. a week later i was trimmer again. im not sure how long it would take to switch back to fat knacker mode though lol. you also get a good pump on a carb load

Yep. Definite jerk - I'm sure you already know to take the slack out then ease it up. Now you know why.

Speedy recovery dude. biggrin

Yeh I've never not taken the slack.
Maybe rolling isn't a good idea for me.
Cheers, I'll be back soon, it feels good today but I haven't touched a weight yet laugh

Bench Press - 5 sets of 5-8 reps
Pendlay Row - 5 sets of 5 reps
Lat Pull Down - 4 sets of 10-12 reps
Pull Ups - 4 sets of 10 reps
