Ok, a bunch of things Marcus;

Firstly, is that a G-Shock Gulfman?!

Secondly, great vascularity.

Thirdly, do you ever work?!

Two up and downy rides yesterday and this evening, not taken at full gas but legs feel really good. Really enjoying just mucking around on the bike at the moment. Pull ups and dips continue despite my trapped nerve, it's a really pisser at the moment. Tomorrow will be hilly group ride on the bike, Friday will be a cross country run possibly up to 20km, and then to the gym at the weekend. Provided my spine doesn't explode, a 140kg plus bench is definitely on the cards. I'm a bit fatter than this bloke...

So comp went well!
Technically I won but they added in a 5th lift on the log to space time out a little which caused me to then come second.
I'm not bothered though biggrin
My deadlift was ugly as hell unfortunately laugh

I get these whenever I go to France - Decathlon - I think you have them in the UK. The make is Quechua.

Thanks!
I've found my limit which is my upper back strength.
Going to listen to advise from a few friends who have analysed it and suggested some things to work on as well as from 15" which I know about.
This time next year 380kg is off up! biggrin

thumbup Thanks for the kind comment Chris.

So yesterday was a 70km bike ride with a few hills, nothing spectacular. Gym in the evening, again just a good solid workout, took my daughter and she seems to be progressing quicker than me! This evening was just my pull ups and dips at home, weighed myself (on a full stomach smile) - 77.3kg. Yay I'm on a mini bulk smile

Talk about not giving up - that was an immense deadlift! Log press looked really smooth too.

Thanks biggrin I wasn't losing it regardless, I had peaked for a 360 but it wasn't to be. Was meant to go 350/360/400 for laughs laugh

Top work Smiffy!

Laboured session for me after a heavy weekend with very little sleep...

Deadlifts 6x10, 2x3, 5x5@100kg

Attempted some front squats @60kg but decided home and food was a better idea.

Happy to have made it to the gym if I'm honest!

Another hard work session yesterday, down on reps and just feeling tired

Bench 2x10@60, 2x6@80, 2x1@100kg
Incline Bench 5x10@60kg
Incline Flys 5x8@26kg
Chest Press Machine 5x10@60kg
Squats 2x5@ 60kg

Then a 10 mile road ride. Was too cold and didn't have enough layers on so called it early.

Right, hilly ride tonight with the gang - 43km and 650m of climbing. Nice to get out with the lads. 120 pull ups and 240 dips as soon as I got home - day 34-ish of my challenge.

Dinner was bacon, egg, chips and pizza, washed down with a cider. Love it.

Feel very deflated today. I was convinced a 185kg DL was very doable, as my last PB was 170kg a year ago.

I even went easy on the back exercises and left the legs until last. But it was all for nothing, I didn't do it. frown. My back felt tired before I started the warm up deadlifts, but to be fair, it normally does anyway. Although I did 3x3 with 160kg on Monday. Did I give myself enough time to recover from that? Either way, very disappointed with myself and now feel a complete weakling.

Anyway, today I did:
Bench Press - 10x12-1 rep
Power Clean, 8x2 plus a final rep with 95kg, which is a new PB.
Standing BB Press - 5x12-5 reps
Wide Grip Pull Ups (BW+15kg)- 5x6-5 reps
BB BOR - 4x12
Deadlift - 4x1 plus the failed 185kg
Seated Pulley Row - 4x12
Weighted Dips - 4x12
leg Press - 5x5
