Bless your wife's patience nd your obvious support for her, it'll be one for you both to tell him/her when older!!

So happy to know you've reached the first critical point all the best (room sounds good btw!)

Wife is 36 weeks this week. Two weeks ago her blood pressure went up slightly from 110/60 to 120/80 (it had been as low as 80/40 in early pregnancy), so nothing too dramatic. It has since remained at 120/80 and as it hasn't gone down, she's now having bi-weekly blood pressure readings and if it goes up again, a medication and then induction at 37/38 weeks might well be suggested.

We don't want this as she's got no other adverse symptoms, so we're doing everything to keep her BP down - lots of yoga and visualising desert islands!

He's an active little chap though, she was balancing the TV remote on her bump last night and he kicked so hard it jumped off onto the floor.

Mrs Hoddo up to 20 weeks now. Mid point scan went well and the twins both look in great shape. Met our specialist multiple birth midwife who will be with us all the way (including birth), that came as a nice surprise, love it when the NHS works well. Next scan in 4 weeks.

Now project 'decorate half the house' and 'buy estate car' swings into action.

Congratulations - hefty little guy!

Our little one is 37 weeks today, so is now officially full term. It's his mum's last day at work and the start of my alcohol 'ban' to ensure I can drive to hospital of an evening

Have never delved into this thread before but can so now. biggrin

My wife and I had our first (my third) yesterday. Healthy little fella at 8 lb 7.5 ounces.

Just thought I'd share as I have 2 other boys that are quite a bit older (10 & 9). Very happy with a healthy child that came into this world with little fuss. smile

Meet Oscar, born 2.5 weeks early on Sunday weighing 6.2lb

I have sold my VX220 as a result of him, so he has a lot of making up to do!

Cute - congratulations!

If he was 2.5 weeks early, his due date was a few days after our little one, who is staying put for now, due a week tomorrow. When they are full term they make the strangest shapes in the belly - he was doing a star jump last night.

Start a new job next Monday, so really hope he doesn't make an appearance on Thursday or Friday next week when I'm off to London and I'll have to dash back.

Is that your wife's thumb or has he got a really big right ear? biggrin

I had an Elise, then an S2 Exige, then a Porsche and now have a 320d!

Don't worry about it though you wouldn't have any time to drive it anyway.

What's the split of parenting duties here? Are you guys 50/50, does one of you do more than the other? Or has anyone got a partner who has completely taken over and doesn't let you get a look in?

Week 29 for us and he's looking like he will be a big lad, which given his sister was a difficult birth means a section is looking like a certainty, the plan had been for induction at week 36 but he'll be as big as his sister was when she was born if he carries on growing the way he has been.

Mrs Star's blood pressure keeps on climbing - due date is this Friday, with an induction booked for a week Wednesday if he doesn't show by then.
