Feels strange to be happy you're having surgery, but it it very good news!...the sooner , the better. Wishing you the best for a great recovery, and when you are up to it, post an update. I would expect you will need a bit of time before you get back to the KB, but fingers crossed.

I'm not going into work tomorrow, which I think is fair enough! Scary an exciting times ahead.

As you say definitely better to get it sooner rather than later. Plus, this way, there's the potential I may be remotely ok by Xmas and new year.

I'm glad it's soon, I was very bad last night.... Not just the sickness but dizziness.... Was by far the worst I've ever had it. I went to go to bed, I laid down and had to sit back up because I felt like the room was spinning. I've had this before, as you know, but usually this settles quick quickly. Last night, however, it got really, really bad. My head was just spinning and spinning and nothing I could do would help. I started to panic because it was getting worse. It took quite a few mins for it to settle and I had to sleep in a different position with an extra pillow.

I'm hoping I'll be ok tonight but it did really worry me. Such a horrible feeling as some of you are, of course, aware.
