One way to be sure - next time you run to the toilet, rather than going in the toilet, go in a bowl, then drink the liquid. If it tastes of milk, we've found your problem.

my diet failed completely today. I'm going to try and force a protein shake down me as I'm lacking massively in protein. Just cannot eat.

If you're not hungry it's for a reason. Forcing extra protein inside you won't help. When did you last take a break? Not a weekend or 5 days...I mean a couple of weeks?

Couple of weeks, never since training.
I take a week off completely every 3-4 months and I was due one soon anyway

Ever thought that eating all that protein might be unnecessary? If you're constantly pi$$ing our your arse then chances are you're not absorbing much of it anyway.

Relatively high protein intake is only really necessary if one is dieting AND already quite lean IMO. 1.2-1.5g per KILO of bodyweight really is ample for virtually everyone.

I dare you to reduce your protein intake and see if you notice ANY difference whatsoever (other than a less-drained wallet) laugh

Yes I do sometimes, it's hard to get out of it though when competitive strongmen lighter than me eat more.

1.2-1.5 would put me at 192-240g which is what I've been doing this week but I normally get 300g a day.
Tbh I don't spend a lot on food now, maybe £5 a day for everything

Smiffy I have a challenge for you when you have 5 min off the bog. You have to do in without using your head.

Not gonna lie, it's impressive. However, google suggests it's around 125kg in weight (looking at similar shaped chinese bike with 125cc engine (guessing)).
I could pick it up biggrin
just not balance it on my head lol.

A thought just popped into my head, what happened to the challenge we had set up?
I can't remember what it was but there was a challenge involving everyone.....

What was that ? I've not trained much for ages. Easing myself back in hope to improve to pink weights within the next few weeks.

I've got to have a few weeks off now Mrs had a operation yesterday so I'm full time daddy day care wash n ironing man. Wish there were more hours in the day.

My main goal at the moment is cardio tbh need to loose some fat and although I enjoy doing weights more I just can't seem to get rid of little niggles. I'm starting from scratch with weights going very light just to see how I get on. Tbh I think I will have to pack in lifting or certainly bench press it's doing as much harm as it is good

I've never actually tried for my max rep on pull ups, but somewhere between 15 & 20, I reckon.

I only weigh 74kg max though!

Weighted pull ups, I'm good for BW+40kg. Incidentally, if you want to increase your BW reps, weighted reps will get you there in no time.

Preaching to the converted, probably hehe

I'll be very impressed if you can do BW+86kg wink
