"Hi, you're hot. Can I chat to you for 5 minutes to raise my T-levels before doing a 1RM squat?"
"You're such a charmer."

I suppose it's better than: "Hi, are you ovulating? Can I sniff you?"
("At least one study has noted that men have higher testosterone levels when percieving the scent of an ovulating woman, relative to non-ovulating.[4]")

This is gold!
So sniffing all those bike seats after women used them paid off!

My understanding was that that only applied whilst the bike was actually being ridden!

Water weight - I heard someone talking last night going on about when people first start to diet they just loose water weight.

Bull or does this actually happen ?

I've heard that, too. I suppose it's quite encouraging but then if the weight loss starts to slow down dramatically after the initial few weeks then that can become discouraging.

Its mostly true, but its only noticeable if your diet changes in such a way that your salt intake or carb intake reduces. Sodium and carbohydrates are both stored along with water.

I can put on 2-3lbs in 24 hours by eating below my daily calories needs but with a couple bowls of pasta and salty snacks

Do you notice it visually? Look less defined? I haven't really made the connection.

After my recent spell of bad luck, came back today with a great session.
132.5kg x12 bench press which makes my 1RM up from 180kg to a estimated 185.5kg smile
Plus I've managed to control my guts to an extent. I'm going to ask my doctor if he can get me allergy test before my colonscopy to help ease symptoms

For every 1g of carbs you eat, your body holds 2g of water (in layman's terms). Therefore if you cut carbs out you'll lose the associated water weight. If you do keto, you lose a lot of weight at the start due to it which I suppose is what people talk about when dieting.

I'm just starting to get back into gym at the moment. I've not trained properly for months due to a variety of reasons/excuses.

I'm now training in a public gym, something I've not done in over four years. I'm almost embarrassed to go at the moment as I am so weak as I'm lifting weight that 6 months ago I was warming up with. I weigh the same now as what I did last summer when I was 7.5% body fat although I'm more like 12-13% now.

I hope I can return quickly...

A long while back I was taking my butt for a wee several times a day, it lasted for around 6 months and then when I was out in Uganda I started noticing blood in it. I fainted at work and then went to a local doctor who told me I had Intestinal cysts and Intestinal Amoebas. I was taking some huge pills but within a week I was tip top again. I had been tested a lot in the UK and nothing was found.

Dave!

Im doing alright in my cutting at the moment. In the last month Ive dropped 7 lbs in weight and lost 2 1/2 inches off my stomach. Look noticeably slimmer and better shaped.

And best of all, my lifts are going up and hitting PB's almost every week. Happy with that!

Take my hat off to you, Adz.

I'm really struggling to get weight in check at the moment.

Im staying away from the cookies, they are my weakness!

And Im really enjoying running for a change. Did the 3 miles in just under 30 mins a few days ago, collapsed on the lawn when I finished but it felt great.

Stay away from main meals and eat all the cookies you want. You'll probably be sick and tired of cookies so end up eating fewer in the long run. jester
