200ish carbs
320ish protein
Fats from nuts, eggs, meat and a little milk+cheese

Oh and fat doesn't make you fat (when eating the right ones).
It's the years of bad dieting when younger
Just weighed myself - so chuffed!
At the beginning of the year, I was 16 stone, or there about.
In May, I decided to start weight training and change my diet completely after seeing a recent pic of me sitting at my desk, quite an eye-opener.
Six months in from the training, I am now 12 stone 7, just under 80kg. I am 5'7", and still have the last remaining bit of fat to remove from my waist (the last bit is quite stubborn!), but am very happy with the results of six months training and diet.

Nice work. Keep up with the lifting and the diet, you will get rid of the tummy fat eventually. At the beginning of the year, I was 16 stone, or there about.

Good job! I'm the same height, was just over 13st and now just under 12 (75kg). Still more fat than ideal but going to bulk over winter (while trying to minimise any more fat gains) then cut again around march. At the beginning of the year, I was 16 stone, or there about.

Thank you! And good for you, too!It is hard work, but very enjoyable (and addictive) too, and when you can actually see the results, and nice when friends and family comment, it is one of the best things I have done. I have been trying to walk the tightrope between gain muscle and losing the fat - once the fat is almost completely gone, I can concentrate on 'bulking up'. I have been living off lots of protein and salad stuff - it works! (for me, at least). I don't want to jeopardise my muscle gains by going too mad of the dieting...

Well done Chris
you can argue with them all day about it when they're convinced it does.
Have you seen the experiment with a bloke who (I think) ate 10k cals of fat a day and gained a couple lbs just to prove that fat doesn't make you fat?

The best is the girls in the office counting the calories in their "lite" crisps and announcing they're doing really well today as there's only 115 in their bag and most importantly zero fat...Hoofy said:

hit a new PB on squat tonight - 240kg.
Just off legal depth I think but overall I'm happy.
I'll work on all little niggles from next week, needed a 1RM week so I can use %'s for my program
