Timely. We had our second 8 months ago and it's taken me until now (and a several day late period for the Mrs) to work up the, er, balls to Google the procedure.

Need to do it, but don't much fancy it if I'm honest!

Surely that guy on doctors behind closed doors was putting that on?

Mine was no big deal at all, I certainly didn't have pain during the examination like he did

Had mine done a few years back.

Bit uncomfortable afterwards, but not too bad. There were 2 aspects that weren't overly pleasant:

1. The local anasthetic...... that was an education (nearly broke the chair!)
2. The fact that my Wife knew the Doctor from her work (she's a Nurse)....... so she ended up assisting on the procedure!

I suppose she could guarrantee that it was done properly biggrin

Perhaps a tiny bid odd she assisted with the potential of a stiffy once she started to mess around with it hehe

That said I remember when mine was done (and I've had it done twice and a reversal once yikes ) my little chap decided to make like a turtles head and disappear into my body once I saw the scalpel approach my nuts......

I've probably mentioned this earlier in the thread, a Vasectomy is a walk in the park compared to a reversal.....fk me that was gruesome and the swelling afterwards...........I remember thinking please take the pain away and leave the swelling hehe

My advice is don't google it. Makes no difference to anything other than you knowing too much about what is going on.

The anticipation is the worst part by a long shot. In fact on the day there was a bit of back log so I was waiting for quite a while with a couple of other guys. One guy was properly papping it...You could literally see him sweating. Couldn't stop fidgeting and generally looking scared to death...He went in but was back out a few minutes later and made a sharp exit so I'm guessing he bailed out. I found this most amusing couldn't stop my nervous giggling...Which set the missus off too.

The op is nothing other than awkward...Laying on a table with my cock and balls out while being completely sober is about as rough as it got. The injection was nothing more than a scratch and from that point on no feeling whatsoever. No pulling, no sharp pain..Nothing.

Had an ever so slight ache the day after but that was it....If you do like to feel pain then take your undercrakers off and let them swing. Not advised. Just keep your jacobs in a tight package and you'll be fine.

It really is nothing to worry about.

Oh and beware of the post-op ghost boner. Very weird.

In the most unlikely of situations to ever have a boner is after your balls have been operated on. It went shortly after I put Maccys chocolate shake between my legs. Just a weird time to be getting a stiffy.

Absolutely. Uncomfortable afterwards but no pain during or after the procedure.

Tbh was a doddle, the only mildly disconcerting things was the initial injection and the realisation that the smell of burnt flesh was me.

Other than some mild discomfort, I was back to work the next day (office job). Then it was just a matter of cleaning the pipes and getting the certificate from Marie Stopes stating I am jaffa.

Had mine done 9.20 this morning, was back in the car heading home at 9.40 (wife driving, not me!).

Injecting the anesthetic stings a bit (no worse than any other injection/blood test really but seems worse because of where it is). What did sting a bit was when the doc started and quickly realised the anesthetic hadn't taken! I nearly shot through the wall! Needed 3 jabs in the end.

Laid on the bed when I got home and for the first couple of hours it felt like I'd just been caught in the knackers by a football. It's now 6 hours after getting home and it just feels pretty tender, especially after walking to the kitchen for a cuppa. Perfect excuse to be waited on and watch box sets!

As already mentioned, it really is the thought that is worse than the actual op.
