I never realised the doses on the boxes were so close to the dangerous limit

I always imagined you would be able to take double what the labels say and be fine to be honest!

it's just paracetamol here that's close to the ceiling.

most drugs have a toxic level way way above therapeutic doses

Doctor referred me to a specialist who I have an appointment with on Monday. But the antibiotics run out tomorrow. I just need to get though the weekend.
oh letter today says the specialist is an oncologist. That's obviously cheered me up a great deal bouncejesterparty

Op,
I'm no doctor, but for temperature, remember to drink plenty of water, and the old school of a wet flannel on the forehead either properly helps, or gives enough of the right feeling to make you feel better. Hope you feel better, and remember that just because your consultant is an oncologist, doesn't mean you need to panic - a damaged lung is a damaged lung, whether that hole is caused by a tumour, virus or any other thing. IMO they may have been selected as an expert of the symptom not the cause.
