3 vs 4 day split

I'm tempted to go back to a 4 day split again but I am unsure which is best as some people say you should always have a rest day in between training for recovery.

I train naturally if that makes any difference.

So which is best?

Either/or is good, what ever suits your needs- I like a 4 day split, but lots do well with a 3.

I subscribe to the school of thought that anything works as long as you don't work the same part of the body each day. I usually workout 5 times a week but make sure that each body part gets at least a days rest where possible.
