Olivia arrived this morning at 6:31am and weighed in at 8lbs. She was due on Christmas Eve so we've had quite a wait.
Update. Olivia is now nearly 4 months old and weighing in at 13 lbs ish. I don't know about the rest of you but 2.5/3months + when they start to be smiley and interactive is far more enjoyable than the first 8 weeks! staceyb said:
Two and a bit weeks for us and now trying to think of a new name for a girl, as we had Charlotte Elizabeth Ann picked out and someone seems to have stole it
We've gone for Susanna Louise... I wanted Charlotte as well but with our surname and the risk of Charlotte more than likely being shortened to Charlie I was voted down
I originally posted in parents of 2014, but it's been a long story...
Lilith Persephone was born on the 10th dec 2014 at 27 weeks and 4 days, mum had a placental abruption, and i was danger close to losing both of them. Lilith was delivered at 14:59 by c section and was looked after by an amazing doc who got her breathing and stable.
As you can imagine she was tiny (2lb 8oz) but a definite fighter, i got to see her shortly after she was delivered and fell in love right there, she stole my heart...a few hours later she was transfered to NICU st michaels in Bristol, who then looked after her for 3 weeks, during which she went from gravely poorly with pulmonary hypertension to a growing feeding and doing really well baby; there were bumps, docs thought she might have NEC then an infection, but at each step proved them wrong.
Then in early Jan she was declared fit enough to come back to SCBU Swindon, a massive milestone. From there she kept on doing well, a slight cold set her back a few days, but ultimately we got to bring her home in early March. She is still on a little o2 but is being weened off and should be free of it by July.
Lilith is now 9 weeks corrected and is a smiley happy gorgeous baby. There are a few minor health issues but nothing that will stop her being a normal little girl.
I cannot express in words how wonderful the staff at NICU and SCBU were. We could not be more grateful. It was a very scary 3 months and only now are we starting to relax and enjoy those poopy nappies

Thanks TVR1, I will figure out how to upload a pic from this laptop later (I honestly think that Mac's are the single most complicated things in the world).
Any way, my first son arrived three weeks early, but is doing well, following a longish stint in the hospital - thank you NICU team at Addenbrooks.
And in true PH style, we have called him Enzo!
