hello,

Sometimes as soon as I go to bed or occasionally (last night for example) I wake up and feel very odd sensations such as:

sensitivity to light/flashing
strange swirling thoughts, disconnection from reality
numbness in my head
buzzing/high pitched noises
not sure where I am/ disorientation

there's never any accompanying physical pain, I had a CAT scan around 5 years ago due to migraines that came out clear (this feels different than them though)

any ideas on what it could be?

Are you really tired when you go to bed? Do you wait until you feel drowsy? Try going to bed before that time.

Personally, I try to avoid that as it usually results in a wrecked immune system if I do that too many times in a row - cue annoying cold.
