Whats the best medical check up you can get?

Just about to go travelling mainly in South America for a year and would like to have bloods checks/scans etc, any advice on here?

I'd probably give BUPA a call. They do all sorts of health checks you can pay for.

Personally I'd have the bloodwork done when I returned. Do you feel unwell or is their another factor involved?

what is the clinical question that you need the answer to ?

do you really want the worry if a fishing expedition ? the cancer risk from the radiation of unnecessary X-rays or CT scans ?

the US is in love with 'comprehensive annual check ups ' because the Marketers tell them they need them and the standard of care in respect to somethings has become ' becasue it's there' thanks to clueless lawyering
