Um, three minutes like I said in my post... If I had been given another two, I doubt that I could have squeezed out more than a couple more reps.
I must've read your post 10x and still missed the 3 minutes *facepalm*

Happy with today's session.
Weighed 149.4kg this morning.
Did 3 singles @~90% followed by 31 reps @120kg.

The 120kg is a mates bw who challenged me to beat him so I did by one rep tongue out

3 singles @215kg followed by 31 reps @120kg: http://youtu.be/zgZLpfPsPaQ

Happy with it, felt confident I could've beaten my PB today but that's being saved until I'm back on the bulk smile

I'm on 6 out of 8 holes on my belt now too!
Was 3 out of 8 when I started!

You'll regret this by the summer; when you're so weedy that people are kicking sand in your face on the beach.

Your woman might object to you taking me on holiday instead of her.

So what you're saying is that you can't actually tell without using scales etc?

I thought you're too old to be babysitted.

Squat PB today. 30kg off my target for April now. Entirely mental at this stage, walking out with the weight was the hardest part.

Well last year was mainly about dropping fat and getting a decent shape for my holiday, managed to get down to 12 stone but looked a bit too skinny, so I was 12 1/2 stone when we went away. Didn't look too bad, especially considering what shape I was when I started this journey 2 years ago.

So now the holiday is over, Im trying to gain some quality muscle and put some size on. Eating clean and in the week since Ive got back, Ive lost 1 inch off my waist and weight gone up by 1lb. Strength is definitely going up too, did 200kg deadlift for 4 reps last night, so Im sure the mass will follow.

Ok, lard arse.

TBH I don't know what the obsession is with massive glutes especially on a bloke. You see those fitpics with skinny armed girls with a huge arse. I can't help thinking they should stop modelling themselves on baboons.

Advice please brothers.

I'm fecking injured again. Really really pissed off as I'm just getting back into the swing of things.

Played football tonight and I've pulled a muscle or something in my thigh. I did the same a few years ago but a lot worse which took months to heal. I defo don't want to be in that position again. Feels a very slight twinge when running it's just when I go to put a bit of power in a shot or pass I feel it the most and what actually caused it.

I really don't want to hold up my running / gym work or to a lower priority is football. What approach should I have now ?

Keep on running maybe very light weight or complete leg rest ?

I presume whacking up the protein intake help ?

Any tips to speed up recovery gratefully received Just really hacked off as my main goal at the moment is cardio.

Annoying! Rest. Remember to warm up next time. Or warm up more!
