Your Training Goals for 2015
Discussion
I've read it does help and should be done before doing something like shoulders or chest (ie the smaller areas to promote growth). However, it can be done up to 24 hours before you train the areas that are weakest.
Snag is, I may have read it in Men's Health rather than some confusing white paper.

I'll give it a go and see what happens, I know roughly how quickly I'm gaining (or not) atm anyway Snag is, I may have read it in Men's Health rather than some confusing white paper.

His speed is impressive. I read a T-Nation article on how to place arms for push press. It advised to have the elbows like the lads, instead of in front like a front squat. I'll attempt it on Tuesday.
I saw an article the other day that showed force production for leg raise, leg press and squat, Squat was way way ahead.
I'm trying tonight, I don't normally push press but I'll add it in to my already huge volume workout I saw an article the other day that showed force production for leg raise, leg press and squat, Squat was way way ahead.

So what's going on there? (apart from amazeballs!)
The weightlifter's style looks completely different to the other guys... but I just can't describe *what* he's doing differently.
Weightlifter drives up and then drops under the weight to lock out arms and catch the weight before it drops (splits legs to do so). The others are pushing the weight up and not dropping under. The weightlifter's style looks completely different to the other guys... but I just can't describe *what* he's doing differently.

The WL uses the push at the lighter weights though. I've just watched it again, he seems much sharper/punchier at the spring-point.didelydoo said:

It's a push jerk not a split jerk - he drops down into a shallow overhead squat position. It it was a split jerk, you'd be able to tell from how he stands up with the weight.
First rep looked like a split as he moved back. Potato/potato though, same idea of dropping under, just legs move differently.LG
It is a low settee, so one does need a bit of a swing, I had a plate in one hand, I guess I stretched too far, lower back is very tight sore today...today was meant to be deadlift and press...no fracking way now! Ha!
Naproxen? Can I get that over the counter? This has really pissed me off...I was really enjoying my GAINZZZ(mental face).

No through the Dr, but when I first pulled it I felt winded in certain positions etc. Went to the Dr who said I'd be off 6 weeks, went home took some naproxen (I get repeat prescription because it's amazeballs) and did a deadlift session that day! My mum has got a carton of tabsthanks mum.....
Tried the 5 min squat challenge today and managed 45 at 85kg. Probably could have got to 50 but suddenly got a massive headache at the back of my head at around 36 so strggled through the last few hoping my head wouldn't explode! Went for 10 rep set every minute and managed to do that for the first 4 mins. My legs are jelly now......
