How do you train for grip? I could lift a fair bit more in several disciplines if only I could keep my bloody fingers closed round the bar.

Anything that involves grip basically lol.
I move my thumb on top for things like pull downs, do bodyweight hangs, axle bar holds, strapsless shrugs etc and the farmers help too smile

Yes that is correct!

You should've joined smiffy and me for the deadlifts the other day, hoofy. They started at 300 KGS, winner pulled 380 iirc.

Nice going smiffy, great pb!

I'd be happy to DL 200kg. These days I am concerned about injury - not to my back but shoulders and elbows. Old age, eh.

Exactly. He wears knee supports. That's my excuse. I don't want injuries that prevent me doing other sports.

Older guy (50 I think) I train with occasionally pulled 240kg during the week. He's a real life powerfully built director biggrin
