4500-5000+ vs 3100 now.
Max efforts are a lot harder but I was determined to hit a PB (even though I wasn't supposed to hehe )

I think my goals need reappraising. My ageing body isn't appreciating the dash for maximum weight, and I'm really concious of injuries impacting on all training, so I need to take a different approach to getting my 'bikini body' biggrin

Question: If I increase the reps at moderate weights, and then add drop sets to failure, will my muscle mass continue to build? Or do you have to increase the resistance to get bigger?

Dunno, but progression needn't be linear.
If you cycle low, medium, heavy weeks it's less stress on the body but still able to increase, albeit slightly slower. Probably. I think.

I hope so, If i can get to 15% body fat at 130kg (unlikely but i'll try!) I get £1k from a friend because his online calculator says i'll be 105-110kg! :O
