That may be the case, but most of us will never see that kind of weight shifted in our own gyms. Anything over 120kgs squat and 150 deadlift is a rare event in either gym I've played in.
We're lucky to have a few exceptionally strong and gifted lifters at PH, but the rest of us are 'normal'. hehe
You're in the wrong gym then tongue out
Nah. Why would we want to be bottom of the class in a big boys gym when we can be 'men of steel' in with the normals? biggrin

I think it's quite off putting if you have goals like mine. No motivation lol.
Hopefully it'll push me harder being in a gym where everyone is similar strength (although I'm still the strongest statically in this one! laugh)

1) Looks like the corner room of a warehouse. Looks like there's not much kit? Still, it must be good enough given how you're progressing!
2) That's a bastid strong cupboard!

no it isn't very big, more than enough kit to be doing strongman though!
Just missing "luxuries" such as let extension/curl, pulldown machine etc.
There's a work around though and can always train elsewhere on certain days if I get desperate smile

Yeah, I can see that it has enough to keep you challenged. Can't have too many members, though, I guess.

Private gym. Mates/strongmen get monthly membership.
Then the owner has a contract to train kids which is his income + personal training.

So he's basically doing what he loves smile (plus a 10k pay loss laugh)

They're the "naughty" kids that have their own school for being little tts.

Haha, narr he can hardly handle his drinks, never mind a knife hehe

I don't know if it's some rehab type thing that he does. I know he doesn't get bother when in the gym but he taught maths at the school too which usually ended up with a kid mouthing off to him.
The school couldn't keep him on but want to keep the gym bit there so he's taking a pay cut but enjoying what he does.
He hasn't complained so far and says the kids are nice in the gym so maybe not your typical scrote but from a bad family?
I'll have to ask.

Sounds like he's doing a hard but noble job. They might be bad kids but training will give them focus and teach them something other than just how to build muscle/strength.

Unexpected PB!
Had already done 3 sets on the incline before dropping to flat and had a rep out.
130kg x15! biggrin

I like the 1RM calculator number on that too......

A flat DL, there's a thought. I wonder what an incline one is like? hehe
