Well that works out about 3 stone a year.

run up and down the stairs 30 times a day as well.
Decided today that for any internal calls I'd usually make in the office actually walk to their desk instead for face to face. Also weather permitting go for a 20 mins walk every lunch.

I'm actually intending on staying dry this weekend too which includes the France v Wales game!! And attempt to stay dry until we go on the skiing holiday.

Also (probably placebo) but I nearly always feel like something more between dinner and bed - I usually try to fill up on water or sometimes hot choc but do opt fruit of something else.
Tonight however I feel no urge at all absolutely no desire at all.

Ok an update 12 days in and now the weight loss is 3.5/3.75lbs - I'm checking daily exactly the same time and its a continuous loss.

Been taking these pills for 2.5 days so far and from taking them the loss has increased
No booze at all yet
Portion size not really changed
Exercise none - short stroll when I can get a few mins
No change in fruit intake
No breakfast

I'm putting it down to placebo for now but as stated I will keep this update ongoing. Reason for no exercise - this week in the office 7am (means leaving the house 6am latest) leaving the office 9-10pm this week so home 10-11pm (with the odd exception). Literally has been a wake up run into shower race to work then home grab food then bed and repeat. (God knows how some find the time for exercise during the week)

Not because of them it hasnt. A placebo cant physically change your weight; you have either lost weight or havent.
In that case currently these tablets do work. Let's see how things progress.

How can you tell? Your weight has decreased by 3.5lb's in 12 days. 12 days isn't long enough to see a downward trend.
Ive lost 6lb in five days, natural weight variance has a lot to answer for smile
Oh totally agree hence why I'll keep the thread open to see how this thing goes. In cynical but for £15 I don't care and if it does work well that's very interesting and gives me a boost to get on with doing the job properly not quick fixes.
(I do fancy the insanity workouts)

So 15 days loss now up to 4.75lbs - no booze on the weekend at all only exercise being cleaning the house & car.

On average looking at about 2.2lbs per week so far

As I said, that sounds about right. Keep at it.
Will this rate of loss keep going and then plateau? Wonder if its possible it could accelerate now system is totally free of toxins.

If you're serious about making a change then at some point you are going to have to introduce some exercise into your schedule and realise that the upkeep of your mind and body is more important than the upkeep of your house & car. Don't mean to nag but your priorities look a little askew! smile
It'll be interesting to see what weight I get down to essentially without doing anything - as anyone could replicate at effectively no change to their lifestyle.

I'd say 2-3 hours running after the little one at soft play is probably a vast amount of exercise -- unless you have tried it don't knock it

This shows what a massive pisshead you were.
If that's the case then as stated in OP I eat very healthily - sure ill cut back on carbs which will help further but the portion size isn't really an issue simply the booze.

Or the tablets.
I guess maybe as a proper trial I should have continued as normal with the booze as now its possibly a blend of the both or actually purely the booze.

It's the booze.
I believe so too.

It will be interesting to see how much is lost from zero booze for a period of time (excluding holidays shortly - that will be very interesting as if I lose weight while on holiday and taking booze it would raise an interesting question )

If you are skiing there will be exercise in the equation.

My money is on weight gain, but I am not sure what the food in Bulgaria is like.
Ah true 8 hrs a day on the slopes is certainly solid exercise. Food is very good lots of offal, meat salads etc. You don't get McDonalds or fast food at all the idea is you have the meal throughout the evening not rushing it with plenty of drink wink.
