Ok so a bit of an honest background.

I'm 28, and not a regular drinker, I'm i guess a typical binge drinker.

I'll happily not touch a drop for a few weeks and then have a "night out" where I consume a lot, always been this way and never been a problem before.

In my whole entire adult life I've been sick from alcohol less than 4 times, and every single time It's been due to too much drink and I've been blind drunk.

I have a bit of a phobia of being sick, so trust me I make sure it doesn't happen.

Fast forward to weekend before last, night out in London, comedy club, just me and a mate, have a good few drinks but back in the hotel by 1am and remember the lot, I by no means would say I was "wasted"

About 2.30, while asleep I'm ill, it's all over me and the floor, gross. But I remember it perfectly, I didn't feel Ill or have an upset tummy, just sick.

This was very strange and had never, ever happened before, but didn't think too much of it.

Fast forward a week to last Saturday, a night in with the misses. Made some strawberry daiquiri's in the blender. Had perhaps 4 of these. I'd go as far as saying I was sober, went to bed, middle of the night woke up with a mouth full of sick and had to rush to the bathroom, proceeded to sit on the corner of my bed for about 2 hours struggling to keep it down.

I'm a bit concerned by this, what with the week prior.

Finally, last night, I decided (which is rare for me) to have a cider, a single cider. It wasn't as bad as the two above but again, all night and morning I've been feeling fine but keep finding myself having to suppress the sick.

What's going on? A trip to the docs may be in order but just thought I'd see if any docs/experts here first.

Thanks and sorry for the gross post.

With just one pint then yeah, Lemmonie might have nailed it. Alcohol can make the sphincter muscle that stops reflux relaxed. You say you don't drink much then go kerazy. It's these OTT nights that just wash the muscle in alcohol.
