My hands are useless for 6 weeks. How to continue training?

So I've gone and had a nasty accident with my hands. I'll make a full recovery but I want to avoid getting out of shape if possible. Any one have suggestions for training I can do to help prevent muscle wastage.
So far I'm thinking body weight squats, planks super man's and cardio. Plus variations of all of the above.
