Let's wait and see if your opinion changes in 40 years time. Maybe over a pint in 2055.
As I say, it depends on the things I've stated. Due to the nature of my work, I've spoken to a hell of a lot of very old people both in reasonable shape and terrible shape. If I get cancer in my 70s, I won't bother the NHS.otolith said:

You'll probably be wanting a bit of morphine, and while it is available outside the NHS, it's expensive and the quality is not so good otolith said:

Crack cocaine however...
Very moreish...- ok, I concede there is that mayor from Toronto, but he'd probably be even fatter
Certainly a fresh 'health benefit' angle in the drugs legalization debate...
Met up with some old college friends I'd not seen in years and with one exception all of them had gone from a bit out of shape to fat. Shocking the difference a few years can make. It was awful, they were no longer sexual entities - seemed like they had settled down into married life and had just given up.
Interestingly the two exceptions (if you include me) are both single and exercise / get out and about.
Think part of the reason can be people getting into long term relationships and no longer giving a crap what they look like.

Does it matter that much?
Mmm. From a personal viewpoint, it's about reducing the risk of bad health, not just cancer or heart disease but constantly aching joints, diabetes etc.
