I found the ones I bought from there very dry, but perhaps it's the way they were cooked..

The pave steak (and hache steaks) are magnificent, though!

I've been buying from them for a very long time now, and previously from Westin Gourmet who I believe are related to Muscle Food.

I usually buy the chicken breasts in pairs (http://www.musclefood.com/meat/meat-chicken/20-chicken-breast-fillets-2-x-250g-5-kg.html) as it's more convenient for freezing.

It's good quality, much better than supermarket stuff and even better than my closest butcher.

Ordered from them for years, all good stuff

Excellent offers too - 400g 5% fat mince for a quid every couple of months!

Just started to use muscle food. The hache steaks are very nice. Like posh burgers lol

Everything we've had up to now has been decent.

http://www.musclefood.com

You can use the promo code "THEDK" at checkout to get 5% off your order courtesy of this website (http://thedk.co.uk/), there's also a myprotein.com discount code on there. (the site is nothing to do with me, I just watch his videos on youtube).

Moderator edit: no promotion for personal gain please.

I just had an order of the 5kg chicken breasts come through, and they were marked up with a brand on the label, listed as coming from Poland - is this new? They still look good, but I was a little concerned that they arrived frozen rather than fresh as usual.

I may have confused myself, but I could have sworn they used to come from British farms.

I got 5kg of twinpacks, which are from Romania. I though they were all from the UK too tbh, if they are already frozen then are they ok to refreeze upon receipt ?

Hmmm not too happy about them coming from outside of the UK. Was this a recent change?

I have used them before, chicken breasts seemed good in that they were huge and didn't shrink much when cooked.

However my local butcher does 2kg of free range local chicken breast for £10 so buy that every week now.

I buy the red tractor 5kg for £29, I think that means it's from the UK... I've been using musclefood for about 9 months now, the extra lean mince they do for 99p/400g is fantastic value for money, I've had all sorts from them and the on,y thing I would buy again is the fajita chicken, I just didn't find it spicy enough.

The Red Tractor logo includes a statement of origin in the flag device, and when you see the Union Jack you can be sure the food has come from UK farms.

Dunno, perhaps it's the cheeseburger and chips from the local takeaway that gives me the edge for PB's!
