I dunno man.

I reckon you are at least 6 stone overweight. That's going to make a hell of a difference to your T levels.

You realistically have two choices:

Lose that body fat and see where it's at.

Accept that your bf levels are a problem you aren't going to fix due to your sport and self administer.
6 stone? I'd be stage ready at 15st laugh
I agree I'm a couple stone over weight and I'm going to cut again over winter - just wanted to do a couple comps this year since I had been dieting 7 months.

However, surely if diet is good, I strength train + I'm young cannot mean carrying a little excess counteracts my test levels on a large scale?
I wouldn't complain if they were around 500+ (800 being average) but they've been as low as 225 and not been much over 300.
Fat loss hasn't improved it - surely there would be a change if fat was the problem?

I'm not arguing against you saying you're wrong, it's just I've got no evidence in front of me to say the only cause is because I'm overweight and not got something else wrong smile
I make a habit of not getting into arguments with guys who dead lift 250kg+ but... The human body is not a generic piece of machinery, I'm sure you know this, you could do the same thing, have the same diet and take the same supplements as person x,y and z and have largely varying outcomes. No one can tell you how far to go with the pursuit of your sport and your passions, or decide for you what risks to take, sounds to me like you're aware enough to make decisions for yourself but also have to accept it may just be that you don't have the genetics. In your sport I'd be incredibly cynical of who is and who isn't juiced no matter what they claim and ask yourself where the natural conclusion is for you if you're genuine about wanting to "compete".

Again I'm no expert but you'll hear people say a lot that the BMI scale is bks because carrying extra muscle is somehow seen as "healthier" than carry excess fat, which I'm sure it is to some degree but carrying a lot of muscle, "excess muscle", comes with risks as well, especially if it's not part of your genetic "norm".

Don't take this the wrong way but I think you're being delusional as to the level of body fat you are carrying.

You are way, way more than a couple of stone overweight. Like waaaaaaay more.

Get a dexa scan if you don't believe me. I think you'll be shocked.

My opinion, having been around guys testing their test levels and trying to up them without pinning is that it makes no difference till you get lean, then they shoot up.
