Had a scan at 32 weeks and it is already over 5lb, so about 95th percentile. At this rate it will be coming out of the sunroof as my wife is only 5'2"!
Congrats mate.Mine has just turned 2 now which is really scary as it seems like a few months ago we brought her home.
Seriously hard work but absolutely amazing.

Baby Owen is back in his incubator. He had a good day yesterday, but it must have tired him out as he was a bit cold & yellow when they checked him in the middle of the night. He seems to be taking to it well, but won't be home for a few more days.
Is he under a blue light for jaundice? I think it happens quite a lot with those born early (and keeping their temp stable). Bless him, hope you and his Mum are doing OK.Congratulations!
Baby Craik is still at neonatal unit, but no longer in an incubator. I'd love to have him home for Father's Day, mostly so we can chill out together and watch some of the Le Mans coverage. Now that Jen is OK I had wondered about splitting my paternity leave weeks, so I could spend time with both of them at home. However that isn't allowed, so I'm spending my paternity leave st the hospital and will cause an admin nightmare for work by taking a weeks shared parental leave when he gets out.

Having to stay in is so hard when all you want is to be home and forging a routine. You can now do that so the very best of luck with the little fella. Just be there as much as you can and think ahead in terms of chores, washing, outsourcing ironing etc. Go steady with the visitors and don't end up under a mountain of coffee cups. Empower the useless folk to make their own and tidy it away.
Above all, stay calm and enjoy.

Feel for you having to use all your paternity leave visiting hospital. My wife was very grateful to have me around for the first 2 weeks at home, as she felt quite overwhelmed by the new responsibility and complete change of routine / lifestyle.
She's getting in to the swing of things now, but I wouldn't have wanted to just leave her with the baby as soon as we got home from hospital.

I've got the rest of the week off! We're having to make a schedule for visitors, as it was only grandparents + 2 other named visitors at the hospital, so people can't wait to see him. Today's visitors are bringing dinner and helping me bleed the brakes on my MR2, so that can be my daily for the summer, whilst the wife has the sensible car.

Don't be forced to get too many visitors crammed in.I did this first time round and it left me exhausted especially as my son wasn't feeding well and not gaining weight. Second time round we were more assertive and it was much better.
Also little ones are a bit more vulnerable to bugs so too many people in abd out in a short time can increase that risk.
Great to hear you are all home now
