Cant speak for Cod Liver Oil but I take the Omega 3 capsules each day to make sure it helps out with my joints etc... as they've been a bit battered before. Seems to be ok.

Weird, I do it every night, with a hot cup of tea, and they're fine?! (Tesco 1000mg ones)

Is that due to taking cod liver oil?

I have been taking one capsule per day since I started training and diet in May 2014 (along with a multi-vit tab and a few others), as I figured it may be beneficial for joints at my age, when training (48)

I haven't been ill once since, not even a slight sniffle, touch wood! But that could be just pure coincidence, of course..

Yes, one Tesco 1000mg capsule in the morning alongside a single Tesco A-Z multivitamins and minerals pill.

I thought that it was claimed to be an anti-inflammatory or such-like?

I thought it was very hard to get one that isn't rancid. Wouldn't curcumin be better?

I tried krill oil (twice as expensive) for a couple of months, don't waste your money, stick to cod liver oil. I don't think they (the Krill capsules) made any difference over the much cheaper cod liver oil.

I used to take cod liver oil capsules in a bid to stem the creaking in my joints.

One evening soon after dinner I bent down in the kitchen and a mis-timed / unexpected small burp happened simultaneously which brought a bit of dinner (cottage pie) back up, including up the back of my nose.

I got some tissue and blew my nose, but there seemed to be a blockage in one nostril.
I gave another almighty blow and out flew an intact (though slightly softened) cod liver oil capsule which hit the floor and burst!

Cool story, eh!

Oh, and I never noticed any difference when I was taking them or after not taking them again.
