From what I have read, 968 is the PH expert on any laser treatment.....
Only eye lasers though. He was bloody useless building the main weapon on the Death Star. Had to get the work subbed out to get it done on time.Well I thought it was funny!
968 does a cracking service on these threads I reckon, so much info about something that's frankly very confusing, I'm considering surgery myself and always check back to follow his wisdom.

FYI the attraction to SMILE for me was lack of flap and thus lack of flap complications...
Out of interest, what made you choose this surgery over LASEK?Regarding your vision, give it time... I underwent LASEK in March this year, my eyes healed at different rates giving strange vision for several weeks, and it was only after three months or so that everything cleared up completely
Now my vision is perfect, went from -2.25 in both eyes with an astigmatism in one to zeroes accross the board, I can easily read the bottom line of the Snellen chart and have had these results tested independently at my own optician, I'm very happy with the outcome but a few weeks after surgery I was having serious regrets
LASEK does take longer to heal, but be patient, your vision will come back slowly and you should be just fine

LASEK is safe but only needed in specific circumstances, I believe.Regarding your vision, give it time... I underwent LASEK in March this year, my eyes healed at different rates giving strange vision for several weeks, and it was only after three months or so that everything cleared up completely

Anyway from week 3 onwards (now week 4) my eyesight fking rocks! Its better then when I had my eye test (which was 6/4), hoping for 6/3 at my next checkup.
Glare at night is a bit annoying but a small inconvenience given the benefits, hopefully in 2 months it'll be gone.
