I lost my hair when I was 26. I'm 34 now. Bothered me at first but then wimmins do like a baldy, just ask Bruce Willis etc.
Just shave it all off, grow some stubble and go for the manicured scruff look like Jason Statham.
I'm similar, but a bit older. I look far better without hair than I ever did with it. It's great.Just shave it all off, grow some stubble and go for the manicured scruff look like Jason Statham.
It has been said that I look like Jason Statham although I actually look more like Lawrence Dallaglio.
I went for a #3 about 8 years ago - I was only slightly thinning up top but thought I'd give it a go and I've never looked back! No need to go the the barbers, no need to dry and "style" hair, if you get wet in the rain just wipe it off. Plus, I've found a lot of women like it . Mind you, probably just as many don't .
I found that over time I wanted it shorter and shorter - I reckon I am one step away using a razor now, although I have no plans to do that.
Over the years got through two of the rechargeable Phillips shavers with swivel heads - I found them to do a good job but they weren't going short enough. I've been using Wahl corded 'balding clippers' for the past year and highly recommend them, they're an absolutely fantastic bit of kit - the powerful motor and close blades give a really short cut with no risk of pulling, and they feel really well made - there's a good solid feel to them. I started to loose my hair in my very early twenties. And whilst I would prefer to still have the choice, keeping your hair short, or very closely shaved has lots of advantages as already detailed.
You will probably spend more time thinking about it than anyone else, so take the easy route, accept it, and work it to your advantage.
The only thing is if you going to go short with what you have left then keep it trimmed, once it goes to the fluffy stage which for me is 4mm/5mm plus you will look silly.

Do they come with any 'grades' for people who want slightly longer than bald hair but still clipped....... if that makes sense? Have to agree with the consensus here.... there is nothing worse than a man who is trying to hold onto his hair disgracefully. I can't help but notice a lot of 20 something guys that have stupid hair cuts with comb-forwards and 'interesting' styling techniques to try and disguise the fact they are reeceding/balding - it looks silly and I bet all their mates are having a laugh at them behind their back.
Just clip it short and be done with it. Finasteride is far too risky just to save a few hairs and all the other products on the market are basically a scam.

Yes, it comes with grade 0.5 and 1.5 attachments. With no combs, it gives a very short stubble rather than an almost bald look - I took a closeup photo of my freshly shaved head for reference. . Edited by VolvoT5 on Friday 6th November 11:58
