feeling washed out after blood donation
Discussion
There is a good reason why they ask if you're planning on doing anything strenuous in the next 24hrs.
I've done 40 odd donations now, normally go on a Friday evening and take it easy on the Saturday.
Load up on fluids through the day, and get your moneys worth from the biccy table at the end.

Never had a any trouble after giving blood.Cup of tea a biscuit sit down for ten minutes and ok.
Gave blood for thirty years.
It was my first time so hopefully I'll get use to it. I intend to keep it up. I can put up with feeling off for half a day for what will become of it. In all honesty I didn't prepare very well for it so that was probably half the problem. Gave blood for thirty years.

No problem here either & I only sit down & have a soft drink 'cause they won't let me leave without having something. I do go straight home to my dinner followed by a cuppa with some biscuits but I'm back in the gym the following lunchtime.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
