Hicuping for 2 months?

My 15 year old daughter has had the hiccups for 2 months, been to the doc who has prescribed some tablets, it isn't all of the time but they come in batches of 6-7.
Has anybody had a similar experience? If so how was it dealt with?

Not helpful, but I know they're hard to cure.... My wife had them for 6 days!

Not that it's much help here...... But i had them for 5 days and nights in hospital after my last op for Crohns. Was given pills for them, which i didn't even know existed.... but they didn't work.

Weirdly, once they went, i've not had them since, and it's been 4 years !
