I'm 'big boned' and enjoy food so can't live off protein shakes and water.

I buy Konjac noodles/rice/pasta they are pretty much zero calories and fill you up. The are a bit plastically but nothing worse than the pasta I used to get at school. Basically add whatever you fancy but in modesty. Cook some celery, tomatoes and whatever ever you fancy but aim for about 200 calories. Cook it up and freeze it in Tupperware, and when you are hungry, heat it up with the noodles, it will fill you up, I guarantee. it also works well in controlling hunger.

I also very low zero calorie sauce BBQ sauce from Waldon Farms and use that to add flavour, mix it with the pasta if you want. I might even try baking the noodles in the BBQ sauce a low calories snack, and will report back smile

The key if you need to eat is this sort of regime. Don't try and be a saint, just make sure what you eat has nearly zero calories.

I just brush my teeth early now. I don't eat after brushing in the evening, so rather than do it before bed, I do it an hour or so after finishing dinner, as I can't be arsed to clean them again after. Surprisingly effective. Stops alcohol consumption too, I just stick to water after that.

My late night saviour...I play footy 9-10pm which is pretty late, but i'm hungry when I get in, so I keep a little of this in the fridge...
Missed this, just had a thought....what flavour did you go for?

I'm not a banana lover, but it's probably the best flavoured one and I like the mint chocolate one in a smoothie.

Not overly keen on the strawberry but the wife likes it.

Regardless of flavour, it does a job.

You can't wk a mouse! or a Moose...

I'm not psycho therapist like, but if being hungry doesn't stop you sleeping can't you just be hungry? I know it's easier said than done and we all suffer irrational compulsive behaviours and the human mind is prone to all sorts of errors and daftness, but you know you're not going to starve - right? And isn't the aim here to break the cycle of eating rather than just change what you eat?

Saying that, I find that a drink like Diet Coke does a good job of plugging a gap.

150g of strawberries is only ~7g of sugar and ~50 calories

It smelt and tasted good as a powder, but when mixed and set it just tasted to artificial, then the aftertaste a bit like sweetener found in canderel or such.

Mrs Chippy said there is less cals in Angel Delight butterscotch flavour and i know what i would prefer.
