Anyone have a kid with ADHD?
Discussion
Yes I know it doesn't exist and they're only a naughty boy that in PH terms mean I should man up and get him a headlock. Up until I now I probably thought that too, but my son (whose only 4) has been diagnosed with ADHD and I wondered if anyone not powerfully built and no goatee members could share their experiences.
We're lost and in bits how such a lovely, caring boy can be so naughty when we're not there.
HELP! Many thanks

One of my boys (He's 31 now) had it, he was (is) highly intelligent, but a nightmare, (drove me mad between 12 and 20, but has settled down now, and is now a wonderful loving son.
He was on Ritalin for a few years which definitely helped, at least at first.
Your advantage is you have the internet has a vast resource, which was not available to us much at the time.

Separation anxiety?I have a 9 year old niece who has been diagnosed with ADHD and also suspected sensory processing disorder. Her behaviour is consistent in all situations - probably calmer in school than at home. Her (absent) father won't allow her to be medicated. She's hard work, hardly sleeps, very defiant, constantly injuring herself by running into things, takes off her clothes all the time and she ululates a lot. Much worse than the problems I have with my own girls.
