Thanks the the advice and have just ordered a set of these to try:

Not expecting them to set the world alight but for 10 quid ...
Just gone for the same thanks to this thread - looks like pretty much the same tech as the 16 quid ones, so thought they'd be worth a punt!
Just got a pair, better than I expected. Using them daily so will comment about the longevity at some point.

One thing to remember is if using a phone as the media source and wanting to listen to the radio (Often I'll run whilst listening to the evening match on local bbc radio) the cable acts as the antenne therefore a B/T headset is NG for this activity

On a separate note ... one pair of BT headphones for sale getmecoat

Been using these in the gym for a few months, found them to be first rate.

Any update on these? I'm tempted to order a set of the £10 ones.

Mine are still working as new (probably averaged around ~4-5hrs gym use each week since I got them)... Better than any wired pair I've ever had for a tenner by far! smile

May have to try those 10 quid headphones - I sweat lots, so destroy headphones very quickly.

How often do you have to charge them? If I do a 2hr workout should I be recharging before the next session?

Maybe best to get 2 pairs then ha! smile

I've always got about 3-3.5 hrs out of mine - they die shortly into the 3rd session if I forget to charge them, so also thinking of getting a second pair as backup!

Jaybird Bluebuds - I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Wear them running every other day. will easily last a couple of hours if not more on a charge.

X2 is the latest I think, mine are just the X.
I wanted to buy some X2s, but paying way over the odds didn't appeal. The new X3s are out soon, but Jaybird seem notoriously st at supplying information on availability.

I've just bought some Bose Soundsports to try. If they start falling out then I'll return them.

I got mpow magnetos off amazon 6 or 7 months ago. They get used for the gym 3 times a week and a couple of 5k runs. Can't fault them, I normally charge them about once a week but they claim 8-10 hours I think.

I'm trying to persuade myself I don't need a set of those Magnetos as well! smile

I've ended up pushing the boat out and gone for these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017I9CBPC/ref=pe_3857...

The inline remote and magnetic function sold it to me.
