They'll do. Just so long as your mid-traps and rhomboids are kept up to par with your chest/lats so that you don't have your shoulders pulled forward to create issues in your upper back later on in life.
That ape look that the muscle heads have in the gym.

How much do they weigh? Most 'home gym' weights are so light as to be pointless.

Can't remember tbh. However, seeing as my shoulder and chest press is pathetic, I'd imagine that even at 18 or 20kg (not including dust), it'll be enough at the moment.

Disagree. I can give you a workout with 5kg and 10kg weights that will improve your muscle tone and shape no end. When you have stopped whimpering with pain through overdoing the number of reps.

Look at the old videos showing people like Frank Bruno weight training. Hundreds of reps, light weights. Because he was interested in fitness and speed rather than bulk.

Tiger Woods did much the same thing, for the same reasons.

Quick update: - I've lost about 1.5kg, which isn't bad considering I had a cold last week and couldn't really go to the gym for 5 days. Also, I had a mental weekend going to a few gigs, drinking beer and eating ste hehe
